Guide on whether to rest or feed

Have you ever wondered whether you should feed your employee or to rest them? This guide will help you decide! This is assuming you have a stable popularity!

The following section of the guide is made for deciding whether to rest or feed at 80% health which is the optimal working health (any lower than 80% makes your workers work slower hence less money). If you want to determine whether to rest or feed at other % health, please scroll down!

1. Check the amount of money you have before you make your employees work at 100% health


2. Check the amount of money you have after 12 minutes of working all your employees (that is the amount of time it takes to heal from 80% to 100% health by resting, I have just calculated this with a stopwatch on May 8th 2009 starting from the moment I clicked rest on my character at 80% to the moment the character hit 100%)


3. Subtract the two numbers to find out how much money you earned in 12 minutes


4. If the difference is greater than your amount of employees times 60$ (the amount to feed your employee water to give them 25% health) then it is worth it for you to feed.


5. If the difference is less than your amount of employees times 60$, it is better to rest.

Determining whether to feed or rest at other % healths:

1. At whatever % health you are at when you are deciding whether to feed or rest, calculate the time it takes to rest to 100% using a stopwatch. We will call this amount of time as HEALTHTIME.


2. Check the amount of money you have before you make your employees work at 100% health


3. Check the amount of money you have after HEALTHTIME(See number 1) minutes of working all your employees


4. Subtract the two numbers to find out how much money you earned in HEALTHTIME(See number 1) minutes


5. If the difference is greater than your amount of employees times 60$ (the amount to feed your employee water to give them 25% health) then it is worth it for you to feed.


6. If the difference is less than your amount of employees times 60$, it is better to rest.

My personal measurement for my restaurant at level 20 and 50 popularity is that it is better to rest at 80% than to feed because I only earn 360$ in 12 minutes and to feed all 8 workers would cost me 480$.

Of course if you want gourmet points and don't care about losing money you should always feed and run window.
